  1. Hi! It’s now 4am and awake. I’m ok, not shaken or upset. I’ve just had a dream of 4 young adult males died from drowning with one of the dead still had his eyes opened and I still can remember his face even after I have woken up. The bodies were laid on the beach and 3 other men were standing near the bodies waiting for others. I asked some questions to these guys about the deceased. One of the men told me that the dead are brothers whose mother I vaguely remember. (I don’t actually know these people in real life but I know them in my dreams). One of the men told me in my dream that the mother used to live behind my parent’s house (green coloured house which doesn’t exist in real life). The mother moved away not far from where I was in my dream but her current house is located at the end of a street nearby, a dead end street). I had tears in my eyes thinking about how the mother was going to feel when she finds out about her sons’ death). I didn’t see the mother in my dream. What does this mean? Thank you.

    • Dreams can be complex and are often influenced by our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. The symbolism and meaning of dreams can vary greatly from person to person, but I can offer some general insights into the elements of your dream:

Drowning: Water-related dreams often represent emotions, as water is often associated with our feelings. Drowning can symbolize feeling overwhelmed, helpless, or in over your head in a particular situation in your waking life.

Deceased Young Men: The presence of deceased individuals in dreams can symbolize various things. In this case, it may represent a fear of loss, regret, or unresolved emotions connected to young men or a sense of vulnerability.

Open Eyes: The detail of the one deceased person with his eyes open could symbolize a sense of “seeing” or “awareness” in a situation where you feel helpless or overwhelmed. It might suggest a need to pay attention to something in your life that you’ve been avoiding.

The Beach: The beach is often seen as a place of transition between land and water, symbolizing a potential transition or change in your life or emotions.

The Brothers and Mother: These family connections could represent themes of family, responsibility, or relationships in your life. The fact that you don’t know them in real life may indicate that these symbols are more symbolic than literal.

The Green House: Unusual or non-existent locations in dreams can represent unexplored aspects of your mind or emotions. The color green might relate to growth, renewal, or healing.

Tears and Empathy: Your emotional reaction in the dream, feeling sadness and empathy for the mother, could reflect your own feelings of empathy or concern for someone in your life or a situation you’re aware of.

It’s important to note that dream interpretation is subjective, and the meaning of your dream can vary based on your personal experiences and emotions. Consider what’s currently happening in your life and how the symbols in your dream might relate to your waking experiences. If you find yourself frequently having emotionally charged dreams or if the dream continues to bother you, it might be helpful to speak with a therapist or counselor who can provide guidance and support in exploring the emotions and themes in your dreams.

  2. A hibiscus was connected to some lady who died in my dream, but even tho she was dead I kept seeing her and I’d run over to where she was and she was gone but in her place was white and pink hibiscus.
I was in some janky giant thrift store/warehouse/movie theater. It was like a field trip or group trip and we were gonna watch a movie. The owner showed us these two big electric orbs that floated around and right after a sand storm kicked up and someone came to me and told me “she’s gone” and I went to look and saw her in this aisle and I went running and she was gone and I saw the hibiscus where she was standing. Next thing I know I’m out in a field talking to some dude about loss. I start walking back to the warehouse thing and I was bawling. On the way back I saw more hibiscus and smiled at it
On the aisle she was on was also some Gameboy My brother was there too. In the beginning

    • Dreams often draw upon your subconscious mind and can be influenced by your daily life, thoughts, and feelings. With that in mind, I can provide some general insights into the symbolism in your dream, but keep in mind that the true meaning of the dream may be unique to you.

Hibiscus: The hibiscus flowers in your dream seem to be a significant symbol. Hibiscus flowers are often associated with beauty, femininity, and tropical environments. In this dream, the hibiscus may represent the memory of the lady who died and your emotional connection to her. The transformation of the lady into hibiscus could signify a transition or change in your perception of her, perhaps from a physical presence to a more abstract memory or a feeling of her presence.

Thrift Store/Warehouse/Movie Theater: The setting of your dream may symbolize different aspects of your life or experiences. Thrift stores can represent the past or memories, warehouses can symbolize storage or hidden aspects of yourself, and movie theaters can represent a desire for escape or entertainment. The combination of these settings might suggest that you are exploring your past, uncovering hidden emotions, or seeking some form of emotional release or distraction.

Electric Orbs: The electric orbs in your dream could symbolize something mysterious or unexplained in your life. Their presence before the sandstorm may suggest that there was a moment of curiosity or intrigue before an upheaval or change.

Sandstorm: Sandstorms can represent turbulence, chaos, or emotional turmoil. The fact that the lady’s disappearance is connected to the sandstorm may indicate that her absence is causing emotional upheaval or confusion in your life.

Loss: The theme of loss is evident in your dream, as you are searching for the lady who has disappeared. This could be reflective of unresolved grief or emotions related to loss in your waking life. Your conversation with the man about loss in the field may suggest a need for closure or understanding of this emotional process.

Smiling at Hibiscus: Your smile at the hibiscus on your way back to the warehouse could signify a sense of acceptance or peace with the idea of the lady’s absence. It may suggest that you are finding a way to remember and cherish her memory without the overwhelming emotions of loss.

Ultimately, the meaning of your dream is highly personal, and the interpretation depends on your own feelings and experiences. Reflecting on your current life circumstances and any recent events or emotions may help you uncover the specific significance of this dream in your own context. Dream journals and discussions with a therapist or counselor can also be valuable tools for exploring the meanings behind recurring or emotionally charged dreams.
